Bending the Bow Int'l

Before we left for Africa in May 2008, the Lord woke me up one night and spoke a really powerful word to me. He told me that as we traveled into the nations His hand would carry our children. They would be safe. They would not die. They would be unharmed. They would be UNSCATHED...and that their training would be in the nations.

Seth and I had are both really comfortable traveling and so I never really had worried about our children, but it was an amazing promise of safety and protection and I was grateful.

When Josh got sick two months later we had a lot to grapple with, but we KNEW we could trust the Lord's goodness and the word that He had given me. That word became an anchor. After thirteen months of pain, difficulty sleeping and eating, barely getting off the couch at times, Josh is better. Looking at him today it's hard to believe he was ever even sick.

Unscathed...
